Join us as a Shunter Driver (Night Shift) at JMW FARMS LTD

JMW Farms is part of a leading group of companies in the UK and Ireland, specializing in pig production.

We operate our own transport fleet, delivering meal to our local farms from our mill and transporting meal products from the port.

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Shunter driver to primarily shunt trailers around the yard and between our base and nearby yards, ensuring health and safety standards are maintained at all times.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
• Load and unload trailers
• Inspect trailers for damages
• Report damages to the Mill Office
• Complete all necessary paperwork
• Check diesel levels on trailers
• Collect and drop trailers at Moy Road Site
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Perform any other duties delegated by your manager

Essential Criteria:

• Experience in yard operations within a busy transport environment
• HGV Class 1 License
• Shunting experience is desirable; training will be provided in-house
• Knowledge of yard health and safety protocols
• A positive 'can do' attitude
