Job summary

TIP Group is seeking a skilled Shunter Driver in the United Kingdom to move trailers safely within our yard and depot, and to run the on-site MOT lane at Shepshed. You will perform tests, load weights, and help keep fleets moving.

The role requires a full UK Class 1 licence as well as FLT or Telehandler licenses. A proactive mindset and sense of ownership, plus a good sense of humour, are essential for this team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Shunting trailers safely around the yard and depot to support daily operations.
• Running our on-site MOT lane at Shepshed, including presenting vehicles and trailers for test.
• Completing brake tests, headlamp checks, and on-site park brake checks.
• Loading and unloading trailers with test weights.
• Collecting and delivering trailers to customer sites when required.
• Working closely with a hands-on, supportive team to keep vehicles moving.
• Helping ensure our customers’ fleets remain safe, compliant, and road-ready.
