Warehouse Operative PAY £11.44 per hour

Temporary to Permanent based in Bideford

Working hours: Tuesday and Saturday, 9:30 am to 5 pm; Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Start date: 14th May.

Purpose of the Showroom-Warehouse person/Driver's Mate:

You will be responsible for dismantling and reassembling furniture, loading and unloading vans for customer deliveries alongside your Driver Mate.

Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading furniture from a van
• Picking and packing orders for dispatch
• Assisting with deliveries on the road as a Driver's Mate
• Warehouse duties in the showroom and warehouse
• Processing paperwork
• Sorting recyclables into correct bins

Qualifications and experience:

• Full Driving Licence
• Age 25 or over for insurance purposes
• Attention to detail
• Confidence in building and dismantling furniture
• Ability to perform heavy lifting
• Knowledge of hand tools such as screwdrivers, Allen keys, and others
• Ability to read and understand product labels
• Time management skills
• Teamwork
• Flexibility
