Job summary

Kenect Recruitment Ltd in Doncaster is seeking an experienced paint technician to restore, refine and perfect vehicle paintwork to a flawless, showroom-quality finish.

You will polish new painted panels, remove dirt inclusions, and ensure the finish matches the original factory standard while meeting deadlines in a busy workshop environment. This temporary role pays £14.85 per hour for 40 hours per week, with standard hours Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role (essential).
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
• Willing to support junior techs and offer expertise when needed.
• Passion to work within the motor industry and take pride in work to high standards.
• Ability to work independently on vehicles and make decisions when required.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out polishing of new painted panels, ensuring dirt inclusions are removed and finish matches original factory finish.
• Removing scratches and correcting minor paint work.
• Ensuring all Company documentation is accurately completed and procedures followed.
• Planning and managing time effectively to meet deadlines and workshop efficiency.
• Training new staff when required.
