Showroom Manager Job Description

As the Showroom Manager, you will be responsible for inspiring the team to achieve a wonderful on-brand shopping experience and to help deliver brand awareness locally. You will be a brand ambassador, always representing sofa.com at the highest level.

You should be an experienced manager with a passion for interiors. You should have a strong business acumen, be commercially focused, and driven to help your team drive sales in the showroom. Good organisational and delegation skills will enable you to effectively manage your day and your team.

  • Welcoming every customer so they feel at home and relaxed, while encouraging them to spend time in the store and browse our range
  • Maintaining our world-class showroom standards and visual merchandising in store
  • Processing customer orders and writing daily, weekly, and monthly reports for your team and senior management
  • Team building and management, ensuring effective communication and development of individuals
  • Conducting monthly team meetings and performance reviews with permanent staff
  • Assessing competitor activity and understanding its impact on your showroom’s performance and trading
  • Driving growth opportunities within the commercial sector to expand the customer base

This role is a full-time 40-hour contract, including weekend and weekday work.

Part of this role involves offering payment solutions, including credit options, to our customers, making home upgrades accessible based on individual circumstances.

Candidates must be over 18 and comfortable offering credit products to customers.
