Overview

Dealership Showroom Host required in Gloucester. Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum pending experience. Hours: 8:00am-6:00pm Monday to Friday with an hour lunch. Benefits: Full brand-accredited training, life assurance, car benefit scheme, staff purchase discounts (parts, servicing, and MOTs), amongst others. Our client, a large multi-franchise car dealer group situated throughout South Wales and the South West of England, is currently looking to recruit a Showroom Host to operate out of one of their dealerships in Gloucester.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly as they enter the showroom and act as the first point of contact.
• Ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience in the customer lounge area.
• Manage customer inquiries via phone and email, providing exceptional service.
• Support the retail sales and marketing team by ensuring the statistical report is completed accurately and on time.
• Liaise with customers and internal departments to meet their specifications for vehicle orders.
• Maintain organised records of customer interactions and transactions.
• Maintain the showroom's point of sale material.
• Providing refreshments and beverages to customers.
• Contribute to the overall efficiency of the showroom by ensuring a well-organised environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing customer service role is essential, preferably within the automotive industry, alongside a friendly and charismatic personality.
• Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
