Job summary

Woodward Recruitment is seeking a Showroom Manager to lead the London showroom for a global construction chemicals manufacturer. You’ll manage product displays, CPD sessions and events, while ensuring visitors are welcomed and the space reflects the highest professional standards.

You will coordinate daily showroom operations, support the Specification and Marketing teams, arrange CPD presentations, and learn the product range and market stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in showroom or customer-facing role preferred.
• Good knowledge of MS Office; CAD detailing is desirable; CRM knowledge a plus.
• Willingness to work Monday to Friday 9am–5pm with occasional evenings or overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day showroom operations and maintain professional showroom presentation.
• Be the first point of contact for visitors; greet guests and offer refreshments.
• Respond to emails and phone inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
• Manage meeting room and IT facilities to support events and meetings.
• Encourage showroom attendance and client engagement with product displays.
• Support Specification and Marketing teams in business development, marketing and events.
• Arrange and manage CPD presentations at showroom and client sites.
• Develop product knowledge and understand UK construction market stakeholders.
• Assist technical team with CAD details and learn internal processes.
• Shadow spec team at meetings and CPD seminars; progress within 2–3 years.
