Job summary

B&Q Limited is hiring a Showroom Advisor for a 30-hour-per-week, part-time role at its Chiswick store. The position is a 3-month fixed-term contract with shifts Monday through Sunday, 7.00am to 10.00pm, and a competitive salary with performance bonuses and a £3,000 top-performer award.

You will help customers design and choose finance options, products, and installation services, producing designs with software and guiding projects from idea to delivery in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Motivated by targets and able to convert designs into sales.
• Team player with problem-solving mindset.
• Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ask questions to recommend finance, products and installation options.
• Use software to create inspirational designs for customer projects.
• Coordinate multiple projects and support customers face-to-face and virtually.
• Guide customers from ideas to delivery to realise their home improvement projects.
