Job summary

Pooky Lighting in Barnwood, Gloucester, UK, is seeking a Showroom Assistant to host customers in the showroom and support product decisions for design projects. Key duties include greeting customers, replenishing samples, tidying the showroom, adjusting lighting displays, and handling customer inquiries.

Qualifications

• Retail or Showroom experience (5yrs preferably)
• Interiors and/or lighting industry experience desirable

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and ensure they are well looked after, including serving teas/coffee
• Keep sample wall replenished and showroom neat and dust-free
• Assist changing displays and ensure showroom looks fresh
• Adjust shades and ensure all lamps have bulbs
• Assist with customer inquiries via email and phone
• Label products and confirm prices are correct
• Replenish seconds showroom and apply correct discounts on damaged items
