An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the most successful franchisees in the Kutchenhaus network as we continue our ambitious expansion. We are looking for a full-time Showroom Assistant to become part of our friendly, design-led team at Kutchenhaus York.

As a growing business with a reputation for delivering beautiful, bespoke German kitchens and home furniture, we pride ourselves on offering exceptional service and a welcoming experience to every client.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support the daily running of our high-end showroom and provide exceptional front-line customer service.
• Greet walk-in clients and scheduled appointments with a professional and friendly demeanour.
• Qualify customer enquiries before passing them to the design/sales team.
• Manage the showroom diary and book consultations and follow-ups.
• Answer phones, manage emails, and provide administrative support.
• Keep displays clean, organized, and presentation-ready.
• Assist with client presentation packs, brochures, and sample preparation.
• Maintain product knowledge and learn about German kitchen design features.
• Support designers, project coordinators, and installation teams when needed.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Experience & Skills

• Customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or showroom environments (luxury or design-focused preferred).
• Confident and polished communication skills; friendly, proactive, and client-focused.
• Strong administrative ability, including appointment management and CRM use.
• Interest in kitchens, interiors, or home design - with willingness to learn product knowledge.
• Reliable, flexible, and calm under pressure; team player with initiative.

Desirable Experience

• Experience in kitchen/interiors retail or showroom roles.
• Support experience with sales/design teams or project coordination.
• Exposure to kitchen design software or luxury home products.
• Long-term interest in interior design or career growth in kitchen design.

Working Hours
