Job summary

B&Q Limited in Darnley is hiring a Showroom Advisor on a permanent part-time basis (16 hours weekly). Expect shifts 7.00am–10.00pm Mon–Sun with a competitive hourly rate of £14.10, plus individual bonuses up to £250 per quarter and a £3,000 award for top performers.

You’ll help customers with ideas, designs, and installation options, and support projects in-store and remotely. You’ll need strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, and be comfortable with a rota that includes

Competitive salary (£14.10 per hour) with individual bonuses up to £250 per quarter for hitting targets, plus additional team incentives and a £3,000 award for the highest performing 3–5% of colleagues

What we need:

You’re great at using technology but more importantly you’ll have brilliant communication and relationship building skills as you’ll work closely with colleagues & installers to ensure we deliver the best service on every project. You’re motivated by targets, and are confident in converting your designs into sales. You work well as part of a team and you’re a good problem-solver too, with a keen eye for design. And you’re flexible enough to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
