B&Q Derby is seeking a part-time Showroom Advisor for 28 hours per week to help customers bring their kitchen and bathroom ideas to life. You will ask questions, suggest finance options, and create inspirational designs using available software, guiding projects from concept to delivery.

You'll work both face-to-face and virtually, delivering exceptional service and building strong customer relationships while meeting targets.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to meet targets and convert designs into sales.
• Comfortable working in a rota including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
• Proficient with technology and customer-facing software.

Showroom Advisor

Part Time - 28 hours per week

9 Month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity leave cover)

Shifts available Monday - Sunday, 7am - 10pm

Competitive salary (£14.10 per hour / £26,945 FTE) with individual bonuses up to £250 per quarter for hitting targets, plus additional team incentives and a £3,000 award for the highest performing 3-5% of colleagues

What's the job?

Sales matter in this role, but your real focus will be the customer. You'll ask questions and explore possibilities to recommend the right finance, products, and installation options. You'll use software to produce inspirational designs that will bring customer projects to life. Coordinating multiple projects & supporting customers virtually and face to face, you'll take our customers on a journey from inspirational ideas through to delivery, helping to make their dreams a reality.

What We Need

You're great at using technology but more importantly you'll have brilliant communication and relationship building skills as you'll work closely with colleagues & installers to ensure we deliver the best service on every project. You're motivated by targets, and are confident in converting your designs into sales. You work well as part of a team and you're a good problem-solver too, with a keen eye for design. And you're flexible enough to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
