Shot blaster

We are looking for a Shot Blaster on an ongoing contract for an Engineering/Fabrications company in the ST10 area (Temp to perm for the right candidate). Specific experience is not required as training can be provided, but ideally some experience within an engineering/manufacturing business.

Please note you will need an in-date Counterbalance license for this role.

Start date: ASAP

Rate: £12.78p/h - £17.04p/h

Hours: You will work on days and night shifts, and you will need to be available for both! (6am-2.30pm Mon - Thurs, 6am - 11am Friday) for a Night shift it's (4.30pm - 2.30am Mon - Thurs).

Duties:

1. Shot blast parts/Preparation of products for painting
2. Inspecting products to ensure they are prepped to a high standard
3. Paying high attention to detail
4. Adhering to site health and safety guidelines at all times
5. General housekeeping duties using a Counterbalance truck
6. Liaising with the team to ensure smooth running of the operation
