Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in the Leeds area is seeking a Shot Blaster for a long-term temporary contract. The candidate will be responsible for shot blasting, bead blasting, and fettling components, primarily for vehicle auxiliary systems. Experience in industrial settings is necessary, but full training will be provided. This position offers an immediate start, a clean working environment, and overtime pay at 1.5x the base rate.

Shot Blaster - Circa £13 an hour. Long-term temporary contract, immediate start available after interview. Dayshift only, no shifts. Overtime available paid at x1.5.

The Shot Blaster role is based on the outskirts of Bradford.

A leading manufacturer of specialist engineering products in Bradford has an opening for an industrial painter to join their dynamic team. The working environment is clean, organized, and supported by a good management team.

You will be Shot Blasting a range of components, predominantly for vehicle auxiliary systems. The role will also involve Bead Blasting and Fettling, with full training provided.

The successful candidate will be experienced, having worked in industrial or manufacturing settings.

Key responsibilities for the Shot Blaster role include:

• Painting large industrial brackets
• Preparing surfaces, masking, sanding, etc.
• Shot Blasting and Fettling (full training provided)
• Using 2 Pack & Wet Paint spraying
• Wet and dry Bead Blasting
