Job description

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Shot Blaster to join our clients team in Grantham on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing metal surfaces for finishing using shot blasting equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate shot blasting machinery to clean, strengthen, or polish metal surfaces

Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety

Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times

Work to job specifications and quality standards

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Support team members and assist with other tasks as required

Requirements:

Previous experience in a shot blasting or similar industrial role preferred

Understanding of health and safety procedures in an industrial setting

Good attention to detail and ability to work independently

Physically fit and comfortable working in a manual role

Competitive starting pay (£13.00+ per hour)

Working Days: Monday to Thursday

Working Hours: 07:00 to 17:15

Total Weekly Hours: 39

Overtime: May be available at enhanced rates
