Are you ready to take the next step in your events career at one of the UK’s largest hotel event venues?

As the Short Lead Meeting & Events Executive, you’ll be the key contact for both short lead and key account business - managing the full journey from initial enquiry through to planning and final handover. You'll handle incoming enquiries, qualify client needs, create tailored proposals, plan the event, and finalise all details, ensuring every aspect is considered along the way.

While you'll be part of a large and supportive events office team, this role gives you full ownership of all short-lead bookings, so previous experience in hotel event sales or coordination is essential. You’ll bring excellent communication skills, a sharp eye for detail, and a genuine passion for creating exceptional guest experiences. Familiarity with Opera is a bonus, but full training can be provided.

In return, this role offers a salary of £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, plus a quarterly sales bonus incentive worth up to £2,800 per year, free meals on duty, an annual complimentary stay with dinner at a De Vere hotel, additional hotel stays for just £50, and even a paid day off for your birthday - just a few of the reasons our team love working here.
