Description

We're looking for a creative, self-driven Short-Form Video Content Creator to help grow our online presence through engaging, high-quality content on platforms like Instagram and TikTok. You’ll be responsible for curating ideas, shooting, and editing short-form videos that educate, entertain, and convert. Most shoots will be done in batches, 1–2 times per month, and include working with both our team and local real estate partners.

This is a part-time, flexible, freelance-style role with room to grow into a long-term creative partner. If you're skilled behind the camera and passionate about capturing content that performs, this is for you.

Responsibilities

• Plan and pitch creative, on-brand short-form video content ideas (15–60 seconds)
• Shoot vertical-format videos on-site using phone or camera gear
• Edit videos for social media (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) using tools like CapCut, Premiere, or similar
• Add captions, transitions, and motion to increase viewer engagement
• Collaborate on messaging and hooks for content that stops the scroll
• Batch film 1–2 days per week to create 7–14 pieces of content
• Work with our internal team and partner Realtors to produce branded video content

Qualifications

• Proven experience creating short-form content for social media (portfolio required)
• Proficient with video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, etc.)
• Skilled with iPhone, DSLR, or mirrorless cameras for high-quality video
• Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, TikTok, and content trends
• Excellent time management and ability to meet weekly content goals
• Comfortable directing people on camera to get natural, engaging footage
• Bonus: Experience in real estate, mortgage, or personal finance content

Compensation

$30 - $45 hourly
