Job summary

Kubix is seeking a hands-on Shopify professional to configure Shopify and Shopify POS, build automations, and support integrations across a diverse client base. You will train clients, hand over solutions, and manage day-to-day relationships on-site with occasional travel to stores and live launches.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of hands-on Shopify experience, strong admin skills, and the ability to read data mappings and webhooks.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of hands-on Shopify experience, ideally agency side, with at least a couple of stores you have personally taken live.
• Practical Shopify POS experience, or quick to pick it up. Retail systems experience counts.
• Comfort in the admin: settings, apps, Flow, metafields, CSV and bulk data work.
• Enough technical grounding to be useful around integrations; read JSON and understand webhooks.
• Ability to write clearly; test scripts, handover notes and client updates are part of the job.
• A client-ready manner: calm when something breaks, honest when you don’t know, organized so nothing falls through.
• Willingness to travel for store visits and go-lives; occasional early starts and out-of-hours launch support.

Responsibilities

• Configure Shopify and Shopify POS, store setup, locations, inventory rules, staff roles and permissions, and payments.
• Build automations and workflows using Shopify Flow and apps.
• Support integrations per solution designs; configure client side and test data flow.
• Test and launch: write/test scripts, coordinate client UAT, assist during cutover and early live support.
• Train and hand over: show store managers and head office teams how to use built solutions, with documentation.
• Own the client relationship day to day; participate in calls and store visits, handling questions decisively.
