Pay & Hours

We offer a rate of £12.71 per hour for Shop Supervisors, with a 39-hour workweek over 5 days, Monday to Sunday. We are open to discussing flexible working hours to suit your needs.

Job Role

As a Supervisor, you will work alongside our team preparing fresh ingredients, producing food items like sandwiches and baguettes, and providing excellent customer service. You will be trained to our standards and have opportunities for progression. Responsibilities include assisting the Shop Manager with daily operations, supervising staff, increasing sales, controlling costs, and developing the team to build customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and creating an inviting atmosphere
• Receiving and checking deliveries
• Managing stock and produce
• Maintaining product knowledge
• Preparing food according to specifications
• Quality control of food and produce
• Ensuring hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards
• Working efficiently within a team
• Cash handling and till operation
• Opening or closing the shop as required
• Running shifts at various times
• Driving sales and minimizing wastage
• Previous supervisory experience in retail or customer service is required; food production experience is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
