Job Description:

Our client is a heavy construction company specializing in a wide range of services, including quarry operations, concrete supply, asphalt paving, and site development.
They also offer excavation, road construction, equipment rental, and trucking services.
They are looking for a Shop Supervisor who performs a full range of mechanical tasks—from minor maintenance (like oil changes) to complete teardown and rebuilds—within the scope of a 310S license.

Your new role :

• Equipment Focus: Specializes in heavy equipment such as shovels, loaders, and dozers. Does not focus on trucks. Oversized or highly specialized tasks may be outsourced.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment including Shovels, Dozers, Loaders, Graders, Paving Equipment, etc.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Collaborate with the operations team to schedule preventive maintenance and address urgent repair needs.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Valid 310T or 310S Certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
