Pay & Hours:

We offer our Shop Supervisors a rate of £12.71 for a 39-hour week, working over 5 days, Monday to Sunday. We are open to discussing flexible working hours to accommodate your needs.

Job Role:

As a Supervisor, you will work alongside our dedicated team preparing fresh ingredients and producing sandwiches, baguettes, and other food products according to our standards, while providing excellent customer service. You will be trained to Wenzel’s standards and have opportunities for progression.

You will assist the Shop Manager with daily operations, supervise the team, grow the business through increasing sales, controlling costs, and building customer loyalty.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet customers and create an inviting atmosphere.
• Receive and check daily deliveries.
• Assist with stock management and produce.
• Maintain shop displays.
• Have excellent product knowledge.
• Prepare food according to specifications.
• Ensure quality control of food and produce.
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
• Work efficiently within a team.
• Handle cash and operate the till.
• Open or close the shop as required.
• Manage shifts at various times during the week.
• Drive sales and minimize wastage.
• Previous supervisory experience in retail or customer service is required.
• Experience in food production is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
