McDonalds Bakers is a well established family run traditional bakery business based in Glasgow. We have three busy bakery/coffee shops serving fresh bakery produce, hot filled rolls, salad rolls, savouries, cakes, coffees and tea. We are currently looking for a Experienced Shop Supervisor to join our team.
We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and motivated individual who strives to ensure the best possible standards are being delivered by every member of the team. As a Shop Supervisor you will support the Shop Manager in following and implementing all policies and procedures, ensuring the shop is clean and welcoming, promoting a great atmosphere and customer experience. You will take charge of all aspects of the daily running of the shop in absence of the Shop Manager.
Main responsibilities
Consistently provide excellent customer service.
Assist the shop manager with all operational standards.
Take charge in the absence of the shop manager.
Assist and support all new colleagues ensuring they are made to feel welcome and are fully supported with their induction and ongoing training.
Implement and comply with all company policies and procedures.
Ensure that our shops are well presented and maintain excellent standards within the shop.
Ensure the quality of our products is maintained throughout the day.
Manage colleagues and delegate tasks appropriately to team members.
Support and encourage the development of the team.
Prepare and serve high quality, freshly made rolls, filled salad rolls, hot filled rolls, savouries and hot drinks etc.
Cash handling, cashing up and banking duties.
Stock rotation, processing all deliveries and complete administrative tasks.
Previous experience within a supervisory roll, experience of working in hospitality.
Excelelnt customer service.
