Shop manager (take-away food shop)

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily operations of the takeaway and delivery service, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.
2. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development for team members.
3. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
4. Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the takeaway and delivery service.
5. Ensure that all food products meet the food’s quality standards and specifications.
6. Manage online ordering platforms and ensure they are functioning correctly.
7. Manage financial aspects of the takeaway and delivery service, including budgeting, sales, expenses, profitability, forecasting, and reporting.
8. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing customer complaints.
9. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
10. Motivate and lead a team of staff to achieve sales and profit goals.
11. Ensure timely delivery of orders and monitor driver performance.
12. Monitor and maintain inventory of food, beverages, and supplies.

Skill/Experience/Qualifications:

1. Relevant experience in a similar role.
2. Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
3. Familiarity with online ordering platforms and delivery management systems.
4. Strong understanding of food safety regulations.
5. Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to food service.
6. Experience with inventory management and financial reporting.
7. Strong communication and customer service skills.
8. Passion for culinary arts, creativity in menu development, and an understanding of current food trends.
9. Experience managing delivery drivers.

Experience: Required

Salary: £31,000 – £34,000 yearly
