The Children's Society in Stockton Heath is seeking a confident Shop Manager to lead and develop a well-established team. You will drive community engagement, maximise income and manage volunteers to deliver exceptional customer service.

We run over 100 retail shops covering the whole of the UK - every one of these shops play a vital role in our mission to providing support to children and young adults. This role sits within our Retail Domain, which transforms donated goods into vital income to support young people across the UK. You'll play a key part in our well established Stockton Heath shop, leading and developing what is currently a superb team, to deliver excellent customer service, community engagement, and income generation.
As part of this role, you will be required to follow a shift of 5 over 7 days, will include weekends with future plans to also trade Sunday's however you would not be expected to work every weekend, rather you would plan efficient rotas to maximise opportunities whilst being mindful of how we support our teams.
We're looking for a confident and motivated Shop Manager with the ability to lead and inspire others, develop a culture of natural growth leading a strong volunteer network, and drive the shops net profits, whilst also delivering improvements to strengthen the shop's performance and wider community engagement and impact.
