Tuesday the 1st of July at 11:30pm This role is being advertised as a Shop Manager but on appointment your job title will be Community Shop Manager. We’re looking for confident and influential people who want to be at the heart of their local community and seek an opportunity to have control of creative merchandising within managing a Shelter shop. Do you have experience managing a team while also empowering and motivating individuals? If so, then this could be the role for you at our Prestwick shop.

About you

  • You will need to be an active team player and demonstrate how you’ve managed and motivated a team beyond expectations.
  • Experience of providing excellent customer service in a face-to-face role.
  • Good knowledge of recruiting and developing a diverse team.
  • Experience supporting and motivating teams to progress.
  • Ability to bring these skills into this position.
  • Good communication skills to engage with the local community and seek out new opportunities to increase the shop's contribution to Shelter’s cause.
  • Develop your own and your team’s interests in merchandising the shop, attracting customers, and continually developing knowledge of Shelter and its work.
