Job summary

Farmfoods Ltd in Bury, Greater Manchester is hiring a Shop Manager on a permanent full-time basis. The role is 45 hours per week with a salary of £34,262.76–£39,889.20 per year and benefits including 30 days holiday and a 15% staff discount.

You will lead a busy shop, recruit and develop your team, ensure high standards of service, manage stock and costs, and work flexibly including weekends. Training and career progression are emphasised within Farmfoods' supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Experience as a manager or assistant manager.
• Friendly, positive, hardworking approach to work.
• Excellent leadership skills to motivate in a busy environment.
• People-person able to build strong working relationships.
• Trustworthy and reliable as part of a small team.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and manage day-to-day shop tasks.
• Motivate and inspire your team to deliver great customer service.
• Recruit, induct and develop your team, coaching and providing feedback.
• Be accountable for shop, deliveries, safety, cleanliness and routines.
• Control key costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll to meet KPIs.
• Meet standards in customer service, cash handling, health and safety, stock, merchandising.
