Sense is currently recruiting for a Shop Manager to work 37.5 hours per week at our shop in Poole on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting time to join our team and work in our network of over 120 shops as we continue our shop growth programme. We are looking for someone to lead and inspire an enthusiastic team, drive standards, operational and customer service excellence - all to maximize vital income for the charity.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Building, training, and inspiring a team of volunteers
  • Maintaining shop standards, offer, and customer engagement
  • Driving stock generation and community involvement

Our shops play a pivotal role in raising brand awareness and income, with over four million customers annually.

Key skills and experience:

  • Self-motivated, creative, excellent communicator, and committed to charity retail
  • Experience in inspiring teams to deliver excellent customer service
  • Attention to detail to ensure a safe, clean, and inviting environment
  • Experience in retail or team leadership roles

This role requires working on Bank Holidays and weekends as needed.
