The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring that all areas are hygienic and welcoming. This role is essential in creating a safe and pleasant atmosphere for both staff and visitors.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly to uphold hygiene standards
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or needs to management
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Experience

• Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is required
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift moderate weights as necessary for cleaning tasks
• A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and contributing to a positive work environment
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus

Hours

• Immediate start
• 5 days over 7, Monday to Friday, weekends
• Full time or part time hours available
• £12.21 per hour, paid weekly, PAYE
