Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 4 on, 4 off – 2pm to 10pm
Salary: £12.65 per hour
Location: Penrith

NXT Recruitment are working with a well-regarded family business to recruit a Shop Assistant for afternoon shifts at their Penrith site.

You’ll be working closely with a small, friendly team, keeping the store running smoothly and providing great customer service.

Responsibilities include:

• Keeping the shop and forecourt clean and safe
• Cleaning the coffee machine to Costa requirements
• Recording all necessary fridge and food temperatures
• Replenishing shelves and displays
• Filling cigarette units before shift-end
• Organising the newspaper and magazine stands
• Flattening cardboard and managing waste correctly
  
• Confident with customers and a team player
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Trustworthy with money and security awareness
• Flexible and willing to learn
• A driving licence is desirable but not essential for local applicants
