Retail Store Assistant

£12.21 per hour plus benefits

Reports to: Shop manager

Department: Trading

Location: Headington

Contract: 6-month fixed-term contract

Working hours: Part time 22.5 hours per week

Closing date: Open until filled. We will be shortlisting on a rolling basis and will close the vacancy once we have received sufficient applications.

We’re seeking a motivated store assistant to join our trading team. You’ll act as an ambassador for Cancer Research UK, engaging with the community and showcasing our work.

What will I be doing?

  • Providing excellent customer and supporter service.
  • Working as part of the shop team to achieve sales and fundraising targets.
  • Maintaining shop standards including visual presentation, safeguarding, and health and safety.
  • Building relationships with the community and colleagues.
  • Supporting fundraising events to meet targets.
  • Taking keyholder responsibilities as trained.
  • Engaging in manual handling and physical activities as required.
