Job summary

Bisley Shooting Ground in Guildford, part of the National Shooting Centre, seeks a Shooting Facility Manager to develop and manage new commercial shooting opportunities and oversee operations with a focus on safety.

The role involves coordinating instructors, staff, and administration to deliver high-quality events, drive revenue, and collaborate with marketing to expand Bisley’s offerings.

Qualifications

• Experience in operational management within shooting/outdoor sports/events environments.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Understanding of business operations including budgeting, sales and marketing.
• Passion for shooting sports with personal or professional involvement.
• Ability to work weekends as part of a five-day week.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and risk management in shooting environments.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Must not be a prohibited person under the Firearms Act.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage new commercial shooting experiences, including corporate events and bespoke training packages.
• Oversee operational management of new projects, ensuring high customer service standards and safety.
• Manage and coordinate instructors, range staff, and administrative teams for seamless event execution.
• Drive revenue growth and brand development with key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with firearms regulations and health and safety requirements.
• Work with marketing to attract new clients and expand Bisley’s offerings.
