Our Role

Working as an integral part of the creative team, the shoot assistant supports the effective and efficient organisation and production of TWC photography and the smooth running of shoots, both in the studio and on location. The role requires excellent administrative skills, great enthusiasm for product, and a willingness to learn about all aspects of the shoot process. The role can be developed to include more responsibility on shoots and involvement in creative production.

What you'll be doing

  • Attend product meetings and understand seasonal range developments, paying particular attention to new product and commercial requirements for product presentation.
  • Arrange and co-ordinate product handovers.
  • Organise and maintain product sample storage in head office and Northampton DC.
  • Pack up all products and props and organise deliveries and collections.
  • Help prepare carnets for overseas shoots.
  • Collate information for call sheets.
  • Collate the briefing packs to be sent to stylists, art directors, and photographers.
  • Assist with shoot logistics, travel arrangements, and unpacking of samples.
  • Attend shoots in the UK and overseas when required.
  • Ensure photography is supplied in appropriate formats for all channels.
  • Manage all imagery uploads to DAM server, including creating metadata in Excel.
  • Liaise closely with the production & multichannel teams on critical path and timings.
  • Study the creative marketplace and contribute to the creative team’s knowledge of key talent, innovators, and competitor brands.
