Job description

Interaction Recruitment have exciting opportunities for our client in Northampton as Shoe Operatives.

The hours of work are:

  1. Monday to Thursday 07.30 - 16.30
  2. Friday 07.30 - 12.30

GBP12.21 (Dependant on experience)

Nature and scope of the main activities:

  1. Work as part of a team and on an individual basis working to obtain the daily/weekly targets and ensure that quality is at the highest standard.
  2. Ability to be trained on machines/production processes throughout the production area including when applicable cross departmental.
  3. Able to prioritise the work to meet production needs.
  4. Be prepared to flex daily work load if required to take account of exceptional events, such as urgent tickets, machine break-downs, lack of materials, etc. and communicate to relevant Team Leader / Supervisor.
  5. Liaise with the Team Leader and/or Supervisor to address specific quality or production problems.
  6. Ensure departmental machinery and equipment is in good working order and any problems are reported to the Team Leader and/or Supervisor.
  7. Ability to train others once fully trained.
