An exciting opportunity has become available for an SHO Trust Practitioner at CT1 equivalent level in Urology & General Surgery. The successful candidates will undertake two 6-month rotations in the Urology department followed by a rotation in the Colorectal Unit of General Surgery. The role will start in August 2025 and end in August 2026, on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This post is ideal for candidates seeking to gain clinical experience before applying for further CT or ST positions. There will be significant opportunities to participate in research projects and quality improvement initiatives, with potential for publication and presentations at national meetings.
The post holder will participate in the shared surgical SHO on-call rota covering General Surgery, Urology, Trauma, and Orthopaedics.
