We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will liaise and work closely with our export control team, local customs officers, and freight forwarders to deliver a benchmark export and shipping service to the business. The ideal candidate will ensure the timely delivery of products in line with project demands and manage all necessary documentation for export deliveries.

• Coordinate with the export control team, local customs officers, and freight forwarders.
• Ensure timely delivery of products in line with project demands.
• Create, complete, and manage documentation required for export deliveries, including transport documents, hazardous goods notes, and customs formalities.
• Maintain the accuracy of Import, Export, and Transport Registers.
• Liaise with transport providers both in the UK and internationally.
• Undertake imports and report as required.
• Promote functional excellence within the team.
• Assist the Export Control Department in compliance with export licenses.
• Stay current with all transport legislation, including regulations on prohibited weapons.
• Identify process improvements to create an efficient and cost-effective service.
• Maintain day-to-day knowledge of all movements from the site.

Shipping Officer Required Skills and Experience:
