Shipping Market Pricing Analyst – London

Must be able to Relocate/Travel

Our client, specialised in container shipping, is looking to develop a new Market Pricing Analyst into their London offices to help coordinate and manage the Europe Export vessel space management in line with trade policies and objectives through day-to-day activities. Shipping experience for the role is essential.

The suitable candidate will be looking to develop their career in several countries and be willing to relocate and rotate over the next several years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the focal point for designated regions, demonstrating awareness of regional commodities and markets for operational infrastructure.
• Deal with trades and perform structural reviews on regional performance.
• Respond to rate requests, analysing and judging business contribution in relation to market conditions.
• Complete tender submissions and regular KPI reports, supporting European space management processes as required.
• Represent the marketing team at internal and external meetings.
• Prepare daily reports and coordinate the implementation of country-wise customer allocation processes and performance.
• Be responsible for business plans and assist in setting targets for areas of direct pricing responsibility.
