Full Time, Temporary - 6 month Fixed Term Contract

Role purpose
  • Manage the transportation of banknote shipments to / from our UK vault to / from our customers worldwide, utilising armoured transportation and secured airfreight.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, such as airlines and security carriers, to ensure optimal service in terms of timeliness, security, and cost.
Key accountabilities
  • Ensuring banknote shipments moved in timely fashion in keeping with customer service levels.
  • Ensuring shipments are fully costed and moved using the most cost effective solution.
  • Ensuring consignments moved within security risk profiles.
  • Validation / processing of supplier invoices.
Role-specific experience and skills
  • Knowledge of wholesale banknotes business.
  • Knowledge of cash in transit / logistics industry.
  • Able to communicate to senior level, internally and externally writing written and verbal.
  • Able to plan and prioritise own workload.
  • Excellent numeracy skills / accuracy.
  • Good PC / MS Office literacy, MS Excel competency.
