Your new company
You will be joining a well-established logistics company within their shipping team in West Hull. This is a newly created role and an exciting time to join.
Your new role
You will play an essential role in planning and booking cost-efficient container transportation within the UK and Europe. You will be able to select appropriate shipping routes for scheduled delivery times, across land, rail, and sea. You will support the collation of customs documentation for all orders.
This role does require shift-based and weekend work, so you MUST have flexibility in the days and hours of work. Shifts start at either 6am or later, so you must be able to reliably commute to the site for this start time.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience of working in or knowledge of the transport industry would be beneficial but is not essential.
You must be a logical thinker, a good problem-solver, have a strong attention to detail, and accuracy in data entry. You will work well as part of a team and be able to effectively prioritise your work and that of the team.
What you'll get in return
£26,500 per annum
