Responsibilities

• Mark off and prepare materials from drawings.
• Assemble and install steel structures like decks, frames, and shell sections.
• Fit, align, and fair steelwork using appropriate tools.
• Fabricate/install components such as access platforms and ladders.
• Operate fabrication machinery (rolling, flanging, cutting, drilling).
• Prepare plates, grind, cut, test, and fit.
• Support launch, docking, commissioning and testing.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to solve production challenges.
• Mentor apprentices and share trade knowledge.
