Job summary

The role is hands-on, developing and inspiring the team to meet quality, safety, and productivity targets while balancing people leadership with production demands. You will work with the Production Manager to deliver daily plans, monitor quality, drive continuous improvement, and manage absence, performance reviews, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and 5S is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop your team to achieve targets.
• Create an accountable, high-performing shift culture.
• Deliver daily production plans with the Production Manager.
• Monitor quality and workmanship to meet standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in quality and productivity.
• Own production issues, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Manage absence, return-to-work interviews, and documentation.
• Conduct performance reviews and set development goals.
