Job summary

Subway in Lancaster is seeking a Team Leader to oversee daily store operations, assist in food preparation, and deliver outstanding customer service.

You will supervise a small team, coach colleagues, open and close the store, and help maintain brand standards while ensuring health and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience is desirable.
• Customer service skills are essential.
• Experience in food retail is a plus.

Location: Cheapside & Great John Street Lancashire

Shift Hours: Full Time

As a Subway Team Leader you will be the face of our store. As well as preparing and serving delicious Subway sandwiches you will meet and greet guests and deliver exceptional customer service, as well as supervising daily operations and a small team of employees.

We are looking for team member to work 8-16 hours in our Church Street store, Lancaster.

Payrates

• Age 18-21 – £12.75ph

• Age 21 and over – £13.32ph

• Food preparation including bread and cookie baking

• Ensure food storage and preparation areas are maintained according to Health & Safety and Audit standards

• Customer service, till use and store cleanliness

• Stock Control

• Checking in deliveries

• Coaching newer or less experienced Sandwich Artists

• Opening and closing the store to a high standard

• Delivering brand excellence

Experience:

Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales and/or customer service is desirable and in a supervisory role. Excellent communication skills; especially verbal and a winning attitude is required

Physical:

Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerised Point of Sale system/cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday.
