We have an exciting opportunity for you to join as a store supervisor. Find your place as a leader at Starbucks and help build the brand’s future. Your voice will be integral to everything we do. You’ll lead shifts, work with your team of baristas to deliver the Starbucks Experience with high-quality service, beverages, and products, while creating our third place environment.

We seek candidates with previous coaching or supervisory experience in a customer-facing role. You’ll run shifts, coach your team, and foster a positive learning environment. Experience in retail or hospitality operational activities is beneficial, as you’ll be responsible, alongside the store management team, for achieving results through operational excellence and impactful leadership. You’ll also serve as an ambassador for our partner networks, ensuring they feel they belong.

Every day is different! In our fast-paced store, a typical day may include:

  • Collaborating with the Store Manager, leading shifts, supporting partners, and inspiring the Starbucks Experience for partners and customers
  • Setting priorities, leveraging tools and resources to delegate tasks and drive store profitability
  • Motivating the team to deliver excellent customer experiences, pre-empting and resolving issues
  • Sharing best practices and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Managing store operations during shifts, including opening and closing duties
  • Ensuring compliance with operational policies, including cash handling, safety, and security
  • Providing consistent quality beverages and food, adhering to standards and safety guidelines

Our stores operate at various hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.

All partners start with an introductory training program led by in-store trainers, designed to immerse you in Starbucks culture and set you up for success. Training is on-the-job and supported by your manager.
