Job description

Since 2018, Voi has been on a mission to create safe, sustainable, and reliable micromobility for everyone. We are now seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead our team of Fleet Specialists in Portsmouth.

YOUR MISSION AT VOI

As a Shift Supervisor, you will manage a team of Fleet Specialists, balancing field tasks (80%) with managerial duties (hiring, training, performance follow-ups) (20%). Your responsibilities include:

1. Vehicle Utilization: Out on the streets, collecting and deploying scooters with a hands-on approach.
2. Navigating Logistics: Assisting in receiving, packing, and deploying new vehicles.
3. Managing Your Team: Creating shift plans, fostering team performance, and improving processes to meet expectations. Supervising team activities to ensure efficiency and safety.
4. Upholding Quality Standards: Collaborating with your team to identify and address damaged or misplaced vehicles, ensuring tidy parking and restoring fallen vehicles.
5. Cultivating Talent: Interviewing, training, and nurturing Fleet Specialists to ensure operational success aligned with performance targets.
6. Synergistic Planning: Working with managers to optimize work schedules and ensure effective shift execution.

WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK

We seek a pragmatic, responsible team player capable of independent problem-solving and collaborative solution-finding. Fluency in English is required. Additionally, the candidate should have:

• At least 2 years of previous work experience
• Experience managing a team
• A Full UK Driving License with no major offenses and a maximum of 6 points for minor offenses, meeting our e-Van insurance requirements (as occasional driving of e-Vans may be needed)
• Proficiency with digital tools (MS Office, G-Suite)

JOB CONDITIONS

• Working days: 5 out of 7, including some weekends
• Working hours: Night shift (20:00 - 04:00)
• Contract: Permanent
