We are currently recruiting for a Shift Supervisor - Leading Hand to join our friendly team at our Linford Block Plant, which is located close to Stanford-le-Hope in Essex. The site is easily accessible from Tilbury, Gravesend, Rochester, Gillingham, Dartford, Purfleet on Thames, Grays, Wickford, Southend-on-Sea, Basildon, Brentwood, Billericay, and the surrounding areas.
Our Linford Plant manufactures sustainable, tough, and energy-efficient aerated blocks that we see all around us, whether this be in our homes or our work environments, you are never too far away from one of our products. This is a 40 hours per week 24/7 shift role.
Working as part of the site production team focusing on delivering and leading exceptional, SHE standards and meeting financial and operational targets, the Shift Supervisor - Leading Hand is responsible for the safe operation of the plant ensuring daily tasks are completed including general site housekeeping and basic maintenance and the safe and efficient operation of mobile and fixed plant. The Shift Supervisor acts as a leader within the shift, coordinating required labour, training, and development of the shift team. You will need to show a high degree of flexibility within your work as well as building good working relationships with your team.
