FORGE is seeking a Shift Supervisor at our facility in Staines-Upon-Thames, England, United Kingdom.

Job Details

Location: Staines-Upon-Thames, England, United Kingdom

Shift Times:

• Day shift: 06.00-17.00
• Night shift: 17.00-04.00

Role and Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for the shift, including facility management, maximizing production, supervising staff, and completing paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with the GM & Production Manager regarding all operational matters.
• Manage staff, production, and quality targets to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure quality standards are met in line with company systems and procedures.
• Develop, motivate, and monitor staff performance.
• Report on process performance and address issues proactively.
• Minimize downtime and non-productive hours to maximize facility efficiency.
• Maintain health and safety regulations and promote a safety-first culture.
• Implement problem-solving strategies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure housekeeping standards and effective resource utilization.

Experience and Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume processing facilities, with direct plant management experience.
• Engineering, maintenance, or electrical experience preferred.
• Strong project management skills.
• Experience within the waste/recycling industry is advantageous.
• Experience with PLCs and automated processing equipment.
• NEBOSH qualification is a plus; COTC desirable.
• Operator certificates for relevant machinery are advantageous.

Additional Information
