A Production Supervisor ensures the smooth running of processes on a production floor. Their duties include overseeing the management of resources with overall responsibility for driving performance management, including routine production activities, troubleshooting, and solving issues that arise on the production floor while ensuring a safe and clean production workspace.

Key Accountabilities
On a typical day you’ll be expected to:
Create and execute the daily production schedule.
Plan and coordinate the resources, raw materials, and staff to ensure production is carried out in a smooth and effective way.
Take the lead in managing, motivating, and directing the production workforce.
In conjunction with the management team, monitor and review the team capability, ensuring all staff are clearly focused on their key objectives and are developed to maximize their potential.
Ensure enough staff are available to perform jobs to the required standard and that staff are trained commensurate with their work activity.
Liaise with the maintenance department to ensure all equipment is in working order and is maintained.
Facilitate communication within the Production department to ensure relevant information is shared in a timely manner.
Collaborate effectively with other departments across the business to drive efficiency within manufacturing.
Update and analyze daily KPI metrics and report any deviations from the target. Help complete an action plan and investigate the root cause of any deviation appropriately.
Challenge and review processes and procedures, exploring continuous improvement techniques to reduce cost while maintaining quality and safety.
Complete audit programs to ensure all standard procedures are being adhered to at all times and any nonconformances are investigated and closed out.
Perform any other duties commensurate with the level of the role.

Previous experience of working in a manufacturing/clean room environment is desirable as is knowledge of print-head assembly, test processes, and electromechanical assembly.
