Job summary

Domino's in the United Kingdom is looking for a proactive Shift Runner to take charge of store operations during your shift, supervising the team and ensuring smooth service throughout peak and off-peak hours.

You will coach and develop team members, maintain high food safety and hygiene standards, and deliver fast, friendly service to customers, with flexible evening and weekend availability to support busy store demands.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a busy, fast-paced setting.
• Supervisory experience in a food or retail environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices.

Responsibilities

The Role:

As a Shift Runner, you’ll take charge of store operations during your shift, ensuring everything runs smoothly in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager. You’ll be responsible for organising the team, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining high operational standards. You’ll also play a key role in coaching and developing team members to help them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise team members during designated shifts
• Open and close the store, manage shift changes and complete shift reports
• Ensure all food preparation is completed to company standards

Role Requirements:

This role involves periods of standing, lifting, carrying, and reaching. You may also work in hot environments (near ovens) and cold environments (walk-in fridges) and occasionally outdoors (e.g. refuse disposal, deliveries).
