Qualifications

Shift PSV Engineer page is loaded## Shift PSV Engineerlocations: Milton Keynes Bus Depottime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR032346**PSV Mechanic** Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of Arriva The Shires Limited's Public Service Vehicles (PSVs) to ensure their roadworthiness, safety, and operational efficiency, working on a shift basis.Pay & Hours:* Full-time | 5 out of 7 shift rota (mornings, afternoons & late shifts)* Pay rate: £26.35 per hour ¬ £54808 per annumJob Responsibilities: \* Perform routine preventative maintenance checks, services, and inspections on PSVs in accordance with company standards and VOSA (now DVSA) regulations. \* Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults efficiently and effectively, utilising diagnostic equipment where necessary. \* Carry out repairs to engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering, suspension, and other vehicle components. \* Conduct MOT preparation and present vehicles for inspection. \* Complete all necessary documentation accurately and on time, including job cards, defect reports, and maintenance records. \* Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies. \* Work collaboratively with other technicians and workshop staff. \* Participate in on-call rotas or emergency breakdown assistance as required. \* Maintain a clean and organised work environment. \* Order and manage parts inventory as needed.
