Job description

Adecco have an exciting role for a Shift Production Team Leader to join our client in North Ayrshire, who are leaders in their industry. They are a growing and expanding business with further ambitious growth ahead of them, and have a manufacturing line that is state of the art technology.

You will report directly to the Production Manager. As the Team Leader, you will have responsibility for the production operations and quality standards in the manufacturing lines. You will play a key part within the production process from start to finish.

You will have many responsibilities, some will include:

  1. Ensure quality control systems and checks are applied.
  2. Direct responsibility for people management of the team - recruitment, on-boarding, training and performance management.
  3. Drive a culture of continuous improvement amongst the team.
  4. Responsible for health, safety, and well-being of personnel.
  5. Ensure documentation relating to the production and loading is accurate.
  6. Manage overtime, timekeeping, and attendance of the team.
  7. Liaise with maintenance to ensure tasks are completed.
  8. Maximise throughput of all material in an efficient manner.

This is a shift role and the shifts are as followed:

  1. Day shift - 7am-3:15pm
  2. Back shift - 3pm -11:15pm
  3. Night shift - 11pm-7:15am
