Qualifications

  • Betrieb von Dosenfertigungsanlagen zur Erreichung der Produktionsziele.
  • Durchführung von Qualitätsprüfungen und Berichterstattung über Abweichungen.
  • Förderung von kontinuierlichen Verbesserungsmaßnahmen zur Minimierung von Ausschuss.

Job description

The Shift Production Operator reports via the appropriate Process Leader to the Shift Manager. The main duties depend upon the area in which the Production Operator works.

  • To maintain safe working practices and comply with any legal environmental and safety requirements and/or checks.
  • To work safely at all times and to report unsafe acts or conditions to their supervisor immediately.
  • To report & support if capable the necessary safe repairs to equipment as and when required.
  • Ensure that proper and safe systems of working and means of avoiding dangerous, or potentially hazardous conditions, are adopted.
  • To operate can manufacturing equipment to achieve plant KPI targets.
  • To be trained and undertake GT100 & limited GT200 competency tasks to the required standard in the area working.
  • To operate the equipment within their area of responsibility in such a condition that quality standards are maintained, and downtime is minimised.
  • To maintain the quality standards as required by the company.
  • To carry out the required quality checks within their area of responsibility and to take the necessary corrective actions and report any non-conformities to the Process Leader and the relevant department.
  • Use SPC tools (such as Infinity and APRISO) to ensure integrity of the can process is controlled.
  • To maximise production and minimise spoilage during the manufacturing process.
  • To report potential problems to Process Leader / Technician or Shift Manager or relevant Department Heads.
  • To maintain the housekeeping to an exemplary standard and in a safe condition throughout the plant.
  • Use of ancillary equipment i.e. fork trucks (following relevant official training) to perform production line or other duties.
  • To promote quality improvement and preventative actions by involvement in continuous improvement activities to meet the KPI objectives.
  • Performs hygiene, painting, and housekeeping duties as and when required or instructed.
  • To ensure 6S standards are achieved / maintained.
  • Reworking HFI pallets, and re-sampling of HFI pallets.
  • Provide support for trials of new materials and / or equipment.
  • Support size changes and diameter changes.
  • To have good communications with management and fellow workers, reporting quality defects, unsafe conditions, manufacturing difficulties, ideas for improvements, etc.
  • Commit to working maintenance days.
